
This here is a painting done by one of my favorite animators, Oskar Fischinger. He basically invented experimental animation, combining music with amazing visuals. That visual stuff that you see on itunes? Well, he invented that way back in the 1930's.
He also did a ton of paintings, the above is an example of that. It just so happens that this here piece is up for auction tomorrow. I like it and the starting bid is low enough to afford but could quickly go up...should I do it?

I didn't get it. Some scowley looking lady bought it for $1800. A good price for a Fischinger painting but I couldn't afford it anyways. Boo-hoo huh?
